‘Flamenco Insights by Merengue de Cordoba’ is an unique historical, touristic and cultural experience that invites you to make a walk into the world of Flamenco along with the Merengues, the only one in the world awarded with 3 national Prices in the Flamenco National Contest from Cordoba.

For 3 hours we will travel some of the most beautiful places of Santa Marina neighborhood , in the heart of the historical center of Cordoba. You will take part of a initiation flamenco dancing lesson at the Concha Calero & Merengue the Cordoba academy – the older in the city- and you will learn a part of the Flamenco history in a typical house from Cordoba.

We invite you to taste the delights of our gastronomy in one of the few flamenco tavern with over 100 years, where the artist still meet for dancing, playing and singing. You will assist to a pure and exclusive flamenco show.


Flamenco is one the main cultural assets of Spain and has been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Humanity by UNESCO. You will make a trip to the flamenco history along with Los Merengues in a documentary film of 15 min long, and you will discover the secrets of this centenary art and its evolution over the time.


You will take part of a Flamenco dancing lesson, You will learn the “compás”, the attitude and the basics steps along with our teachers from the Concha Calero & Merengue de Cordoba Academy. And you will see a live show. We invite you to wake up the “duende” that you have inside and enjoy our flamenca experience!


We want that you live the real Flamenco, in one of the most beautiful neighborhood from Cordoba. We will visit the flamenco tavern Merengue de Cordoba located in Santa Marina. It is one of the older taverns in Cordoba, where you will taste some of the best wines from Montilla-Moriles and typical delights from our gastronomy.
